Bahamas Ocean Safari is a small family-run business with a big love for the ocean. From day one, we’ve been passionate about helping people experience the beauty and wildlife of the Bahamas the same way we grew up enjoying it.
Captain James Dunnam was born and raised right here in the Spanish Wells, Bahamas. His family has been connected to these waters for generations, and exploring the ocean has always been a part of life.
What started as a love for adventure and marine life turned into a mission to share it with others. Bahamas Ocean Safari was created to give guests an authentic, unforgettable way to explore the islands
Spanish Wells (St Georges Cay) is an island of extraordinary natural beauty and tranquility.
Lying just 200 miles off the East Florida coast, it lies near the Continental Shelf in the Gulf Stream giving fantastic game fishing opportunities just offshore. Being only 2 miles long and 1/2 mile wide, Spanish Wells lies just off the north end of Eleuthera island central Bahamas. Our beautiful crystal clear turquoise waters have an abundance of marine life, just off of our pristine white, slightly pink, soft sandy beaches.
